Cary Goldstein, DDS, is a third-generation dentist based in Atlanta. When Carol Newberry walked into DenMat in 1985 for an interview with company founder Dr. Robert Ibsen, the late CEO hired her as his executive secretary on the spot. Her evident smarts, shorthand note-taking and happy demeanor made a good first impression; her loyalty and work ethic made her invaluable. Though Dr. Ibsen retired with the sale of his company in 2008, Carol has remained an essential employee at DenMat—and is one of the biggest champions of its people.

Sally Kashani, DDS, who is known as the “Hollywood Dentist,” owns a dental practice in Toluca Lake, California, near the heart of Los Angeles’ storied Hollywood movie and television studios. Known for her attention to detail and calming presence, she delivers personalized care utilizing the latest technology and materials.

Robert Cartagena, Chief Operating Officer (COO), brings to DenMat more than 25 years of experience in the dental industry. In his role of COO, he works to improve organizational efficiency and functionality; oversees business acquisitions; and provides invaluable insight into general operations to the senior management team at DenMat. That said, if you ask him how he views his role at DenMat, he’ll simply respond with “My job is to make sure we make the best products possible and deliver them to our customers with the best possible service.”
